Description

ENGLISCH / ENGLISH / ANGLAIS:

Made during the glass painting lessons from mid-October till just before Christmas 2011.

The topic was "grasses, lichen and moss", performed in high enamel.
I coated meta paper with black glass paint (which had been mixed with screen printing oil, not with the common oil we use in the painting lessons) and overlaid it with varnish. I waited one day to let it dry (in the airing cupboard) and at the next lessons, I pulled off the varnish/paint and put it onto the inner surface. Onto the outer surface, I stacked high enamel (glass paint with a high ceramic proportion => to stack the glass paint + adds brilliance) several times (~ 4x) onto a glass paint subsoil (to keep the high enamel where it should be :P ). At the very end, I trimmed russet glass paint as decoration film (the varnish + glass paint) and included them to certain areas of the inner surface.
Between those steps, the vase had been annealed around 5-6 times.
